These lights will inspire you

I sort of love when trends aren't so in your face all the time. This Navajo/Pendelton trend has been present but subtle. I also really love all of the tailored pieces that are making their way down to the lower priced stores like Zara and Urban. It's a pretty accessible way to look chic and expensive without spending a lot. Also, with the weather getting pretty chilly around here I've been throwing on multiple layers and I'm kinda into the simplicity of the denim shirt and black jacket. And who else is loving the bleached hair?

How amazing is this little beaded shift? This image is making want to go vintage shopping tomorrow because $120+ is a little steep for something I could find for $20 with a little digging. Things I need in my life: always more brogues and trousers, tailored shirts and blazers, chunky sweaters circa Rodarte F/W 2008.

"So, this flannel thing. Is that a nod to the crispy Seattle weather, or are you just trying to stay warm in front of the refrigerator?"

As soon as I saw this jacket on Topshop.com I immediately had flashbacks of Cher walking to school commenting on the questionable choices of teenage male clothing of the 90's.

"So okay, I don't want to be a traitor to my generation and all but I don't get how guys dress today. I mean, come on, it looks like they just fell out of bed and put on some baggy pants and take their greasy hair - ew - and cover it up with a backwards cap and like, we're expected to swoon? I don't think so. "

Just pair this with a matching skirt and a white faux fur backpack and you will be good to go - now if only the jacket came with Cher's virtual closet I would be sold

Cold Shoulder

This little lady is completely killing it in this Zara blazer. Instantly making me regret tearing out the shoulder pads in all my thift purchases. Zara should probably change their ad picture to the latter.
